First Year Experience
STEP INTO GOD’S PLAN
Curriculum from Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry, along with teaching from local teachers, establishes and reinforces kingdom identity and values in the heart and mind of the believer.
GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD
Homework, Bible teaching and supplemental readings will strengthen students in the Word, and in their authority as sons and daughters and as royal servants representing Jesus on the earth. Through intimate times of worship and soaking, you will encounter God and experience His love and peace.
WHERE THE SPIRIT IS … THERE IS LIBERTY
A culture of freedom requires a high level of accountability, responsibility and honor. You will be challenged to live responsibly before the community. It’s not just about ministering in the gifts, but becoming naturally supernatural, developing and displaying kingdom character of humility, purity, and honesty that ignites transformation in you and within your sphere of influence.
PROPHESY, HEAL THE SICK, AND DEMONSTRATE HIS LOVE
Cultivating a revivalist lifestyle requires risk! Hands-on training will increase your confidence and boldness to step out of the classroom. Serving and participating in conferences, treasure hunts and other outreaches are opportunities to practice and sharpen your skills with a safe leadership team that respects and protects the growing process.
Five Fold Distinctions
The academic instruction at CSSM is unique because it is taught by apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Although we may have local school leaders and guests speak during the year, the primary teaching is from BSSM leaders and Bethel Church. Students will learn how to read, understand, and “do” the Bible, how to practice His presence, to witness, heal the sick, prophesy, preach, pray, cast out demons and more.
Reading
Outside reading will be mandatory and will include the Bible and inspirational books. Plan on reading 30-60 minutes a day. A list of required reading will be provided.
Graduation Requirement
Graduation means you have completed the academic, attendance, financial requirements and spiritual tasks for the year with honor. Requirements for Certificate of Completion:
- Complete all assignments satisfactorily
- Attend outreaches and group activities
- Pay tuition in full
- Have no more than 5 absences
- Demonstrate consistent godly character
Homework
CSSM is focused on personal transformation. Although no grades are given, participation, excellence, and timely completion of homework is expected of each student.
Honor System
Assignments are done on the “honor system” which is designed to do just that – build your honor. As such, students will learn to grow their integrity one “yes,” one report, one check box at a time.
Grading Criteria
CSSM is entirely pass/no pass. Students must pass to graduate. The course syllabus indicates the requirements for successful completion.
Accreditation
Colorado School of Supernatural Ministry is not an accredited school; therefore students are not eligible for financial aid, student loans, or grants.
